Unique Approach

PIE THERAPY

PIE THERAPY is a unique therapeutic baking course co-founded by Sara Barthol. This innovative approach combines the art of baking taught by a Parisian-trained chef with therapeutic techniques to address anxiety, perfectionism, and emotional well-being.

Through the mindful practice of creating pies, participants learn to embrace imperfection, manage stress, and find joy in the process rather than focusing solely on outcomes. It’s therapy that’s both delicious and transformative.

“Baking becomes a metaphor for lifeembracing imperfection and finding joy in the process.”

For Clinicians

I offer clinical supervision to clinicians and professionals in California who hold a Master’s Degree. As an LCSW, I am able to supervise Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC) seeking hours towards licensure.

I believe offering high quality supervision can reduce stress and anxiety involved in developing your clinical skills. With decades of experience mentoring the next generation of therapists, I provide a supportive, educational environment for your professional growth.

I also serve as an external field instructor for MSW students, providing adjunct resources and guidance for graduate internships.
